Berlin declaration of the Work-In-Net consortium

2010 –  At their final meeting in Berlin European partners united in the Work-In-Net consortium (WIN) have formulated a declaration, addressed to the EU and in reaction to the vision document EUROPE 2020.

The consortium points out  an underestimation of the value of  ‘workplace innovation’  for the realization of all economic and social aims that are mentioned in  EUROPE 2020.

Therefor it appeals to the EU to

  1. make challenging  and productive work places and work organisations to a crucial component in this vision,
  2. use all available means (such as ESF and the framework programs for Research and Innovation) to create stimulating conditions for work place innovation at  a large scale,
  3. stimulate the funding of national and transnational means to promote work place innovation.

The Berlin declaration is attached.
