Co-creation en participation in the bargaining at ING
2011 – At ING Insurance (Nationale Nederlanden) a collective agreement is realized in a co-creative process in which participated the works council, the unions, ING management and employees. Ike Wiersinga, negotiator CNV Services, and Lucas de Jong, employee at Nationale Nederlanden, tell the story. Confidence is the basis of this process of creating the collective agreement. It takes guts to open your drawing and cross the traditional line. The process of co-creating in confidence has also had an impact on the content of the collective agreement. Four themes were central: cooperative relationship as real social partners, craftsmanship and personal development, performance management, assessment and remuneration; willingness to let people make their own choices.
